  2. hi my beautiful friend. this photo is awesome it leads me to dream as all your photos do and my dream interpretation is that well the truth is cemented in,haha the lamp in this dream represents the light of truth the concrete walls are impenetrable but there is an opening to allow the admission of insight and the insight today comes in sparks of green and red and gold- this probably comes from the fact that I was at a christmas tree light up ceremony. today at our city square.
    sending you a golden hug.

  6. I'm not sure exactly why or if it can even be articulated but I come back time and time again to this photo as though it speaks and if it is a language I know, then we engage in a conversation and if it is not a language I know, then It speaks to me and I listen, understanding from the deeper place. isn't that funny? what makes this photograph more important than another?

    1. i wish i knew :-) but though i have no answers, it makes me - secretly and deeply - happy that this image has somehow engaged you in such a conversation. i would like to be able to sit down, close to you, and quietly listen to your dialogue.

    2. but you could not listen to this dialogue without becoming me, i think, inhabiting my legs as i run through the snow, my mouth as i kiss james or my hands as i touch my children. i am no longer here and only this light exists and its shadow which is this photograph. to know what it says we must, it feels, become one another or the light itself or the darkness that it illuminates)))

your secrete deep happiness is so valuable to me)))))

    3. yes, this impossible obstacle, always there, preventing us to know from within another - it is dreadful.

here, the Bacon quote, one that is so important to me:
