  2. yes, the beginning of it all :-)

I thought it was the fluttering of eyelashes!

these pictures made me feel sad, though. because the light is never forever.

    1. but when it is here, the light, it can glow with such amazing, impossible brightness, and sweetness, and grace... would you have preferred not to have known that grace? (and the beauty of those eyelashes fluttering :-)

    2. dunno..*at times* I think one has to say that maybe it would have been better.

In any case, one hardly ever sees eyelashes fluttering nowadays [at least *I* don't :-( ]..and certainly on the net! (which doesn't catch everything).

      Khair...

  3. these curtains that catch and hold and offer the light make me think, helplessly, the word diaphanous and remind me that it really means of the shining forth of a god --- and yet, not a god in the old sense, but a promise of pure being, the promise that it is possible to move from this shadow into this light in the eternal moment of these curtains' fluttering, the shape of being that is born as they swell progressively toward us, growing pregnant with the light and air ...

    1. a Rilkean god, then :-)
i too adore the word diaphanous... it seems that for this word, even the light would be too heavy, like here:

Un înger s-a trezit într-o amiază. / Era prea grea lumina şi-l izbea. :-)

  4. forever indeed:)
