all the same

  1. I love how overall it has this very linear and minimalist quality, and yet, the wildness creeping in from the side, and the streaks down the wall tell a larger story. The things of man seem so reductionist and angular, but nature is wiggly and free-flowing.

    1. yes, a larger story, also when one considers that these are the communist blocks we live in, where everything is the same size, same colours etc. they continue to fascinate me, through their history and shapes, i have many series featuring these blocks in my neighborhood.

  2. si totusi nu chiar "the same":) imi amintesc, privind acel fir rosu care le leaga,de niste tablouri ale fridei,nu ca stil, evident, insa si ea are acele banderole rosii, plecand de la inima...
    minunata supletea structurii,a culorii:)

  4. All the same. You don't like sameness? Albert Einstein always wore the same suit (actually he had identical suits: this little gambit, which sports little relativistic merit, was adopted for hygienic purposes), and is probably an urban legend, as sartorial foibles are rarely taken seriously and are typically thin on the veracity front.

    1. well sometimes i do - but it can be a little scary too, no? i think mary shelley knows a lot of legends about doppelgaenger, she might have even met one in the fighting ring, though most biographies tend to omit that incident :-P
